Pendleton YMCA to open daycare

PENDLETON – The Madison County YMCA is preparing for the opening of its new early learning daycare in Pendleton.

An open house with tours is scheduled for September 6-10, with a grand opening scheduled for Monday, September 13 at 1 Plaza Drive, Suite 5, in Fall Creek Plaze.

The Pendleton YMCA branch has been offering child care services in partnership with Pendleton Christian Church for two years, but the new facility will allow the organization “to welcome more families into the child care program,” according to a press release sent by Madeline Boldery, spokesperson for the YMCA. Madison County.

Shortly after starting her work with the church, “the high need for childcare and the lack of space became evident,” the statement said.

The new facility will provide full and part-time child care options.

The YMCA will continue to provide pre-and post-care services for Pendleton Christian Church preschool services.

“We thank them for their continued support of the child care program at Pendleton and their continued support as we expand child care services for the community,” the press release reads.
