Barriere’s cocktails recently received the approval of hundreds of people attending the Maker’s Mark Old Fashioned Holiday Party, which took place in Atlanta in mid-December. So grab a bottle and get ready to mix up the festive cocktails below.
285 VIBE
The I-285 might not have much of a vibe during rush hour, but this cocktail is sure to uplift your mood with friendly ingredients like nutmeg and apple cider.
INGREDIENTS
Manufacturer’s mark in 2 parts
1 part of simple nutmeg
¾ part of fresh lemon juice
3-4 dashes of Angostura Bitters
Topped with sparkling apple cider
DIRECTIONS
Combine everything except the sparkling apple cider in a cocktail shaker and shake while cold. In a tall glass filled with ice cubes, pour the shaken contents and garnish with sparkling cider. Garnish with apple fan and fresh nutmeg.

Take a tour of the festive side with the Southern Sleigh Ride, a cocktail that deliciously combines Maker’s Mark, orgeat, gingerbread syrup, Cointreau and fresh lime juice.
INGREDIENTS
Manufacturer’s mark in 2 parts
½ part of Orgeat (almond syrup)
¼ part of gingerbread syrup
½ part of Cointreau
Juice of a whole lime
DIRECTIONS
Combine it all. Shake in the cold. Filter into a highball glass over cool ice. Garnish with a sprig of mint.
